I know vista is about to release on the 30 of Jan 2007. I want to know if computer @ costco after the release date have preinstall laptops or will they keep selling old 1 and give those Express Vista.

most likely they'll give out express for quite some time. its not Costco who buys the bulk commercial licenses Its the manufactures. and they will want to move all the inventory then can prior to that.
besides if your going to have to wait for vista why not wait until mid spring when Intel will release it's new 4on1 chip amd is working on a 128 too but while Intel's chip will be out this spring amd isn't expected until late 2007 either way I'm waiting for the new chips before I even think of upgrading Equipment or OS.

if you require vista then purchase it.Otherwise save your monet.Get a higher RAM and storage capacity.
