They really hate my girlfriend for various reason but none are really that serious. My girlfriend isnt really comfortable around them and they have problems when she dosent come around even thought they dont like her. They talk about her behing her back all the time, My girlfriend here's stuff they say about her and thats why she dosent like going around them. Problem is were planning on getting married within the next 6 month to a year and this problem seems un fixable. any advice

you should ask them for thier blessing and if they refuse then that is something that u will have to deal with if u love your fiance and she loves you then thats all u need talk to your family and let them know that it bothers u and your fiance and that they need to fiqure out how to control that and if they dont have anything nice to say then not to say anything at all and whether they like it or not u love her and she loves u and u to are getting married and u will not come around if they are going to keep treating her that way and u really dont want that because they are your family and u love them too. i hope this helps u.

Go on with your plans to marry even tho your Mom and Sister dislikes your girlfriend. If you decide not to marry because of the way your family feels,,You will always wonder "What might have been". Tell your family that you plan to marry your girlfriend with or without their blessings....If they don't speak to you afterwords then so be it....You live your life for you,, and do what makes you happy. My family hated my ex boyfriend who I was with for 6 years. He turned out to be a real jerk. We all hated my brothers fiancee, and she turned out to be a cheating psycho. Maybe they are jealous of the time you spend together but families seem to have a way of picking up on things that we don't because we see through rose coloured glasses. Why don't you ask your family why they don't like her? And have a good talk. Be prepared to listen.

Well as long as your girlfriend treats you right, then thats all you need to worry about. If your mom and sister have issues with it, then they can stay away from you. And if you do get married and have children, then you also need to be ready to respect your wife, and not allow your mom and sister to try to disrespect your wife to your kids.

You poor thing!....you need to set them straight! it will have to start from you because they obviously wont take her serious because they dont like her aneway....tell them that she is the one YOU LOVE & WANT TO MAKE YOUR WIFE! if they love and respect you, they will be supportive no matter what and show her the same respect! what are they gonna do if you have kids, those kids grow up and treat your mom & sis the way they know they treated their mother?

If you don't know precisely why they hate her, find out. If you do know and it's for a good reason, you might want to find someone else. If you do know and it's for a bad reason, either talk to them and try to get them to understand their mistake or just ignore them.

Are they jealous of her, or do they see something you don't see? Be open to their concerns - for sometimes, love is blind.
Conversely, maybe they just need to trust you and get to know her better. I can't really say because I don't know you or her. But, usually moms know best and she is motivated (I assume) by her love for you - she wants what's best.

are you going to marry your girlfriend or your mom and sister? You need to tell mom and sis that they don't have to like her but they need to be nice. You can't let your mom and sister run your life.

YOU KNOW DUDE , I FOUND THAT MOTHERS AND SISTERS ARE ALL WAYS WATCHING AFTER THEIR SON OR BROTHER , THOUGH YOU DON'T THINK SO . MOTHERS AND SISTERS ARE VERY INTUITIVE TO THINGS THEY SEE ABOUT YOUR GIRLFRIEND THAT YOU DON'T SEE OR JUST DON'T WANT TO SEE BECAUSE OF YOUR LOVE FOR HER , ASK THEM SPECIFICS ON WHY THEY DON'T LIKE HER , TELL THEM TO BE TRUTH FULL JUST HEAD ON !!!
