So called "authoritarian" third world governments have, without a single exception, resulted in grinding poverty and destruction of their economy. The answer to the question is, there is none. There has not been a single exception of an authoritarian government that didn't degenerate and rather quickly, once it became infected with this way of thinking.

Cuba is a good example. After Castro took over, it went from one of the most prosperous carribean countries to complete and severe poverty in only a few short years. Today, cuba is a place where men are forced into labor camps to be slaves for foreign corporations while the women are forced to work as prostitutes. Those that complain are beaten. Those that complain twice are executed.

An even better example is north vs south korea. North korea is a totalitarian communist dictatorship. South Korea is an enlightened democracy. They were both formed at the same time and have roughly the same resources. South Korea got some aid in development from the US while North Korea got hundreds of times more aid than this from china (aid which it is still completely dependent upon to this day). South Korea is a major economic power. North Korea has set a new low with such governments with widespread cannibalism to keep from starving to death (they are eating the dead to keep from starving to death). This, despite MASSIVE aid from china. What does this say about the two systems and their ability to promote economic growth?

Authoritarian in third world county's are run by a dictatorship, meaning everyone there has to go with one ruler dictates. Democratic, are to free, they have freedom of choice to decide what what economic issue is most important, then rules with a majority vote.

While democratic have freedom, they tend to vote on issues that promotes themselves instead of the best reasoning. Authoritarians have a better issue by having every to accept the same issue, no matter how they feel. Authoritarians, is by far a better growth economically then Democratic.

Not a lot -look at the old communist regimes. There were massive inefficiencies in the whole economic system of the former USSR - and people generally had to queue for hours for the few goods (and foodstuffs) that were available.

tairey; even inspite of the actuality that Meg thinks there's no longer something the authorities can do to promote economic boost, there is very a lot that would want to correctly be finished, beginning with predictability. For agencies to opt for on funding to strengthen they might want to be sure ahead to devise for taxes, and different authorities involvement that produces undesirable outcomes. There might want to be a consistent overseas coverage, so overseas governments recognize what to assume from us, and our tariff practices. contemporary regulation that promotes sending production overseas places, would get replaced to make production better rewarding interior of our obstacles. global loose commerce zones might want to be made into loose, and honest commerce zone relationships to guard community exertions. Political judgements regarding uncooked elements, and ideal use of our environment, might want to take employment, and profitability into interest. Underdeveloped overseas international places won't be able to be approved to opt for the environmental regularly happening for something else of the international.
