Like my family (my stepfather and me)?
Let me tell you, it's really not easy, and I almost got disowned...
Yeah, sorry, but although that question was very... vague, I'll tell you... I've not only been there, I haven't left!
Now, if you were asking about something between them....
I don't know what you meant, but I know for me and my dad, it's been nothing but animosity for a long time...

You give very little info-but I'll guess that the stepfather is not fond of gays and your mother must know(otherwise if not in the open would not be a problem) If your mother supports and respects you that will have to be sufficient then and the problem is with the stepfather and not with you.Of course life would be less complicated for you were he to approve but that isn't the way it is so avoid that issue-do not put in his face for he also has the right to his views for that is not all there is of you nor of him. If you are alone on this then realize that God is there and you must livae life according as you are and not as to what people would like you to be. Wish you a happy life
