I heard is a virus or a msn messenger , but is always freezing my PC running in backgrounds ,please help how to remove it ?

Actually msmsgs.exe is Windows Messenger which is a stripped down version os MSN Messenger; msnmsgr is the real MSN Messenger. As was said before to remove just go to the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and if it is in C:\Windows\system32 folder you should delete it.

Msmsgs.exe = MSN MESSENGER You delete this windows will be all glitchy if u want to delete this u must delete MSN Messenger Completly To Do This Go to Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs Then Find MSN messenger then Msmsgs.exe Will = Poof! :)

msmsgs.exe is the main process relating to the MSN Messenger Internet chat tool installed by default on most Windows computers. A tray bar is also installed alongside this process for easy access to its features which include Internet chat, file sharing and audio/video conferencing. This is a non-essential process. Disabling or enabling it is down to user preference.

you will loose msn messenger and may cause other problems deleting msmsgs.exe
if you have a virus you'll need to do a full scan and get it cleaned

its in your C:windows/system32 folder go delete it
