so you have a can of pop, and you have to come up with a thing to put it in that will keep it the same tempeture if it was in hot water, or cold water. is there a materialk that would keep the can the same temp? or what materials would help it keep the same tempeture? 10 points to the best answer!!

Does it have to be a material? the best solution for this would be to have 2 cans one just inside the other with a compleat vacume between them, as there is no air to transmit the heat between them the liquid inside wont change tempreture.

this is the principle of a thermos flask,

if you need an actual material, somthing that would trap air to stop it from moving and spreading the heat such as glass fiber like you might have in your loft

The best material would be an insulating fabric like wool or a down filled fabric. The wool would whick away the condensation on the cold can keepign it form warmign up and it would insulate the hot can keeping it from coolign down. A down material would work really well as the "feathers" in synthetic down have little air pockets that trap the heat or cold and keep it from escaping from the can.
