Try feeding him a jar of gerber, give him a warm bath, and put him to bed after feeding him a bottle of cereal. If he has something that will stick to his stomach and relax him then maybe he won't wake up for all of his feedings. I have a 3 year old and 7 month old. My 3 yr old didn't sleep through the night until she was over a year and my 7 month old still doesn't sleep through the night. I have found out that nights when I do all of this she will sleep longer hours in between feedings. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. I had a very good pediatrician tell me that at, well I can't exactly remember, but I believe like 6-8 months, a baby no longer need a feeding in the middle of the night. That it just becomes a comfort and habit to them. He told me that whenever I was willing to do it, let her cry it out and sooth herself back to sleep without a bottle, that is what he would do. I couldn't do it. I couldn't stand to hear her cry out for me, but that is why I was stuck waking up until she was almost 2 giving her a sippy cup. If you can handle around 2 weeks most probably of crys in the middle of the night, you could possibly have him sleeping through the night in the next few months to come. Good Luck!

There's no stock answer. I suggest you get a copy of Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child, by Dr. Marc Weissbluth. It helped us immensely with our now almost 4 year old and our 6 month old. If he's eating at those times, then that's a bit odd unless it's growth spurting right now - which shouldn't last more than a week. If he's just waking, he likely needs to learn to sooth himself back to sleep. Unfortunately, many experts feel the only way to deal with that is to let babies cry it out. If you're unwilling to do that, you're in for a long haul of soothing him at night until he just stops waking up anymore - which can be years. Neither choice is wrong - it's whatever works for you and your family.
