I use to work in radio years ago in Boston and met many, many rock stars. Alice in Chains, Aerosmith, Nirvana, Jane's addiction, The Screaming Trees, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Pearl Jam, G n R, etc. They were normal people who just happen to be famous and get oogled over where ever they went.

I use to work with Aerosmith at their New Year's eve and day concert where they gave free concerts if you brought 10 cans of food to help the less fortunate. We would party all night at the top floor suites at the Ritz-Carlton. The MM bosstons were huge partiers. Went drinking many times with Slash. I still have a picture of Lane Staley and me drinking at a bar.

I met Bob Denver (Gilligan) at a radio station and he was stoned out of his gourd.

I went to a radio promo out of town and stayed at a Hotel where The Grateful Dead had rented out the entire place for privacy. The hotel did not care that us or couple had rooms just so they did not allow more people rooms. They were doing a concert and hanging out at the pool.

The best thing you can do when you meet a celebrity is to treat them as a normal person and don't ask them about movies, TV, music they were involved with. That is the quickest way for them to walk away. Most of them are shy in public.

i have met a sturdy length of the Pirates of the Caribbean solid when I labored a press junket for "useless guy's Chest" in 2006, on the Regent Beverly Wilshire motel in Beverly Hills. I met Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp (very briefly), Tom Hollander, and director Gore Verbinski. I also met a guy named Mike Singer, who change into the Unit Publicist for all 3 videos.

I've partied with Doc Walker,they're a country band,after a night out at The Pump since my friend always gets to stay after hours cuz she knows the owner and everyone that works there. I called my mom at about 5 am apologizing that i wasn't home yet and told her and she was so jelous it was quite funny!
