My grandmother told me she had back eyes that even if her back was turned she could see what I was doing. And even when I was in school and had got in trouble she would say whe knew I got in trouble because she saw it with her back eyes. This question brought me back to my childhood for a minute I forgot all about my grandmother and her back eyes until you asked!

In some cases YES!!! Adults knew everything! Here are some examples that might give you an I idea why I say tha adults know not everything but almost everything. I was once a rebel during my childhood or my teen days. My father told me go to school study hard, unfortunately i didn't listen to him, so here i am now a mes-up! My mom also told me to take it easy on my gf. always practice safe sex. coz I have my own opinion and i believe i can think for my self, here i am now a father of two at the age of 26! Now that i am a father, I told my son not to go running around coz he might fall and get hurt, my son wouldn't listen still running around and then boom! he falls on hes knees. And there was this one time were out in the yard burning some dead leaves, I told him not to play with fire, but wouldn't listen again, and after a few minutes he burn his hand.
I hope you already have an idea why adults knew not everything but almost everything. Coz they've been there and already done or experience that!

Sort of. But I was real quick to find they're flawed thinking.
I do not mean that against them in either way. But if you have a similar situation, when you first find that out is when you find you're freedom.
And then you could be way better off, to have found that right away.
And to know you have to depend on yourself.
I think having a higher power can help too. That is not everybody's belief.
And some seem to go as far or further without it, but it works for me.
Either way, ya still gotta think for yourself.

I thought all adults including my mother and father were like gods hehe. They just seemed to know everything and just looked so big and wise. I think it finally hit home that adults werent all they were cracked up to be when my mother smashed her car into an unopened gate.....now that really opened my eyes :P

I did. I thought they knew what to do in every situation. And now that I'm a grown-up, I know that half the time, they were just making it up as they went along.
And for some reason, that makes me respect and love them even more.

When I was a kid, I thought my teachers knew everything. Grew out of that real quick when I got into middle school.

Me too. It was almost like she was magic. I even thought she wrote Help, and some other songs she used to sing at bedtime. When I grew up I realized that Help was a Beatles song and many of the others she sang were real songs by other people. Weird, huh?

yes, especially my father because my mom thought he was the smartest and best at everything. She was wrong, she found that out after 17 years. But I took her worship of him to be mine too. So we both got cheated in a way.

They used to tell me my mom , my dad and his army buddy together knew everything.
I now know they only knew like 70% of everything.
For example, I doubt any of them know Organic Chem much.
I know it though.
Watch for the people who are willing to say "I don't know"
Those are the ones who really do know things worth listening too.
