One of the major causes of hangovers are caused by dehydration. Make sure that you drink water, while you are drinking. Please, don't get behind the wheel of a car and drive if you have had too much to drink.

Why do you have to be 21 years old to drink, but 18 the vote or die for your country? With that said let's get to your question. The only real way to reduce the effects of a hangover is to drink a good amount of water at night before you go to bed after drinking. Hangovers are basically the result of dehydration. Try drinking to 16 ounce glasses of water before you go to bed after a night of partying. This will greatly reduce the effects of the hangover!

The key to reducing hangovers is to drink lots of water. The reason that you have a hangover is the first place is because your body is dehydrated! I wouldn't recommend taking pain killers before you drink seeing as this could cause you to experience some side effects.

Don't drink more that 1 oz. of hard liquor, 1 12 oz. beer, or one 4 oz. glass of wine in each hour. This gives your liver time to filter out the toxins. Of course, if you want to get drunk, this won't work for you. If that's the case, drink a glass of milk or eat a container of yogurt before you drink. For the hangover, drink lots of water to rehydrate your system, try to eat some chicken soup, and try not to take aspirin or acetaminophen if you have a headache, because the aspirin will cause further damage to your stomach lining, and the acetaminophen can further damage your liver. Ginger ale is good, because it contains sugar, which will help the headache, and stays down better than water.
Also, (you probably know this one,) you shouldn't mix different drinks in one night. That can make some people really sick even if they're not drunk.

Other than not drinking??? Just kidding..
It's important to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Alcohol dehydrates you and the more dehydrated you are the worse the hangover will be. So hydrate well before drinking and after!
It's also important to make sure you have eaten prior to drinking. It's easier on your stomach and you'll be less likely to get an upset stomach. You don't want to be paying homage to the toliet god!
I think it's also good not to pound them down too quickly. Space it out a little bit or drink slower.
Cheers!

Drink less. If you were old enough to drink, you wouldn't write things like 'it's none of your business', not to mention...if you ARE old enough, you would know your limit and when you need to stop drinking, so you don't get the hangover to begin with.

Is not drinking on work day's an option? Hangovers are caused form dehydation, between your beers or liquer drink some water. A friend of mine swears by drinking a 32oz bottle of gatorade before going to bed(passing out) along with some advil. Not drinking would be you best bet though.

Drink some water as you drink alcohol.
The alcohol its self causes water to evaperaote from your system. causes dehydration, which is what your hangover is.
When I drink (which isnt often) but I drink like its going out of style, and I have not had but one hangover in my life. the first time I ever got drunk. since then I geeked my answer on the water, and have not hung over since. dont drink it by the gallons, but make sure you have enough to not have that dry feeling in the back of your throat.

Just pace your drinks. The main reason people get hangovers is from drinking to fast. Try to slow down. Don't chug its not like drinking water, its an alcoholic beverage.

Drink lots of water before going to sleep. I personally have 2-3 bottles of water and an asprin. Eating a little seems to help too.
The next morning if you have a hangover: take a shower, eat something, drink lots of water and go back to bed .. you'll sleep better.
