OK I will try to explain this.
When somebody turns 2 years old, at that moment they are actually 1 year old because they have completed 1 year of life. Make sense?
Can't this be applied to other ages as well? Like when someone turns 18 years old, they are not really 18 but they are actually 17 because they have been on the Erath for exactly 17 years once they touch 18.
I've been thinking about this for a few days now. Does anyone agree with this logic?

What I'm saying kind of is that when you're born you are about to start living your firsty year on earth, as opposed to being 1 year old.

ummmm NO!!
When you turn 2 you have actually just finished two years of life.
not one.
for example on Dec 10, 1968 i was born on December 10, 1969 i was alive for a year...thus on December 10, 1970 i turned two after completing my second year on this earth.
Guess in your case you can't have good looks and a brain!!

No because when u turn 2 u r two years old not one when u turn 17 ur 17 years old that means that u have been on the earth for 17 years not 16. When u turn one years old u have been on the earth for 1 year right? Ya so it applys to every other age as well.

At 2 years old you have indeed completed one year of life....and also the second....
When you are born the timer starts....365 days later you turn one....that is one year later....then 365 days after that you turn two. That is a whole other year....I don't even understand where you are getting the theory you are attempting to explain.
Sorry but you really should attend some math classes or something to spiff you up on your math skills.
Have a good night. Mandy

When you are born you are 0.
Then one month two months, etc till you have been alive ONE YEAR... Then you are ONE!
When you are one year and 12 more months you are TWO YEARS OLD, etc.
Right now if you are 16 and 3 months, you are actually IN your 17th year.
Until you are 16 and twelve months, you won't BE 17. You will have been alive for 17 years.

Does not make sense cause when you turn 1 you have completed one year of life. Not 2.
In order for you theory to make sense, you would have to wait 2 years to turn one. Get it?

No. Counting starts at zero, so at 12 months you have completed 1 year. At 24 months you have completed 2 years, and so on.
