I was watching a show on E! or VH1 or something about weird celeb baby names. It was unbelievable. The one I remembered was Jermaine (Jackson? I think?) naming his son Jermajesty. And at one time I read about someone naming their daughter Moon Unit. I just kept thinking to myself, did they just flip randomly through a dictionary and point to words?? Seriously!

But the weirdest one that I have heard of personally (meaning not in a list devoted to the subject) would have to be the name of a coworker's friends daughter.

Shithead (pronounced Shih-theed) but as you can see, its clearly spelled poorly!

A child in my aunt's school was named Formica Dinette.

Another friend of mine has a nurse friend that told a story about a lady that gave birth to twins. Before she left the hospital she was told she had to name the twins. The Mom's eyes fell on the hospital menu for that day's lunch. She chose to name the twins after the choice of desserts: (pronounced) o-RANJ-ello & le-MON-jello. Yep. That's orange jello and lemon jello.

A friend of a friend was name (pronounced) no-NAM-ee. The lady's daddy said that at birth she was so ugly she didn't deserve to be named. So he named her NoName.

My all-time favorite is the little boy that went to a school where my pastor's wife is a teacher. His name was (pronounced) Shith-EED. It was spelled Shithead. No joke. This is a true story. A friend of mine said that the best thing anyone could do for this kid is NOT teach him to read!

My mom taught a boy named Shithead, pronounced Shetead. But yeah look at the spelling... Odd, isn't it?

Ohh and some *famous guy (not sure who though) named his boy Hopper Jack, after his best friends... they are famous too, I just can't recall their names. Another celebrity named their daughter Reighn Bow (or something like that) and another comedian named their daughter Tu Morrow (Morrow was the last name). My music teacher once had a student named R. Just R.
What is this world coming too, uniqueness, okay, but weirdness, nokay. :)

Did you hear about the couple taking their baby to be christened and not having a name. They saw an unusual name called Nosmo on an open door, and they thought that was a good name. The surname was on the other door and it was King. After the christening they returned to that building and the doors were closed. The sign then said -Nosmoking...

I heard of a (foreign) couple who thought the hospital named their daughter Fee-mah-lee because her bracelet said "Female."

My exroommate once told me of a woman who named her twin girls Regina and Vagina.

There's an older lady at this resturant that we frequent named Jelly.

I substitute taught a first grade class once with a little female monster named Precious.

Our neighbor girl when I was a kid was Kandi Kane.

I see alot of names like Miracle, Patience, Heaven, etc when I substitute teach.
