I moved from mild California to all 4 seasons near Reno NV. I've never needed moisturizer before - please suggest some good tips & tricks!

My face is combination, so I don't want really heavy moisturizer for it, but I'm getting the clue that I need something!

Also, if you have any tips for long hair in windy areas I'd appreciate them too!

Thanks!

You need to keep a large pot of water on the stove at your house. Keep it on low when you are at home, make sure to turn it off when you are not home. This will keep the air in your home moist. Also get a gel based lotion, that will combat the combo skin.

Try to keep your hair pinned up with you are out side, because if you don't your style will be ruined, and if you use a lot of hair spray, your hair will be damaged and start to break off.

Drink plenty of water- a light water based skin moisturizer for combo skin and light hair conditioner would be good- you something that is not too heavy- but that works-D

I recommend Neutragena's moisturizing sunscreen. It is lightweight, yet does the job.

The only style I can tell you might work is a loose ponytail. With a tight one, the wind is bound to blow out a few strands and drive you crazy.
