Sadly, I think this is almost entirely the result of two factors; First, the court system is more likely to imprison a black offender for a crime a white offender would get a suspended sentence & fine for, and second, black men are less likely to achieve in school, and education is one of the most effective deterents against petty crime.

What is the solution? Obviously it's very complicated, but I think that (perhaps unfortunately) 'reverse discrimination' will have to be practiced for a few generations before the issue resolves itself.

If you are an employer interviewing two equally qualified men for a job, or even two men and the black one is slightly less qualified, the black guy should get the chance every time.

The only other viable solution is to give massive tax breaks to couples who marry interacially and have kids; then the whole mess would go away! (And just think how cute the girls would be! LOL)
