We talked for a few minutes, and eventually he figured where I was staying from the rudimentary description I was able to give him. He walked me all the way back the three miles to the hotel, holding my hand, warning me again and again not to wander too far when I'm on the beach. I told him I understood and he took me right up to my frantic mother, assuring her that all was well. And after that, everything really was. I know this may have only taken place last weekend, but I know that this event will stay with me for the rest of my life.
