I mean they've never had a really good quaterback like Carson Palmer, Peyton Manning or McNabb. Why?!?!?!?! Don't the bears' presidents know how to draft a quarterback?!?!?!

WTF?!?! Rex Grossman has been throwing too many picks man it's so sad for the Chicago folks.

I almost weeped for them on sunday. Their Defense is so damn fun to watch but their passing game is straight garbage. And they got some nice receivers man!!!!!!!! Berrian would easily be better than Reggie Wayne if he played for the Colts.

I suggest they trade somebody and go draft Brady Quinn or Troy Smith in the upcoming draft.

you agree?

Hold on a minute. Rex Grossman has more touchdown passes than he does interceptions. Granted, he has been playing subpar compared to the beginning of the season, but that's to be expected. He's in his first year as a starting quarterback. People are beginning to figure out how to play against him. Once he learns to read defenses, he will be an excellent quarterback. He has an amazing accurate arm; he just needs to learn to use it. Give him time, and he'll be a great quarterback.

Also, the Bears are 9-2. I don't see them getting rid of a quarterback that is leading the team with a record like that. If anything, they should think about replacing Brian Urlacher because he's getting old and won't be nearly as good in 3 or 4 years.

There is an unwritten rule in Chicago that we must have an excellent defense and run game but no good QB. I dont know why but historically thats the way its always been. the only good bear QB was Sid Luckman(1939-1950) and since we have just had decent ones. Jim McMahon was decent and he one the super bowl because he didnt lose games, a bear Qb doesnt have to win the game, he just cant lose it(like grossman throwing ints all day). not to mention it's hard to be the Qb in chicago b/c if you lose we immediatly want you on the bench.
I like the idea of troy smith but i dont think the bears get a high enough pick to take him(they like to trade down). Brady Quinn is a horrible idea because while he may win for the irish(who play every service academy except the salvation army) he is only a 50% passer(Weis has admitted it) and he doesnt show signs of improving.

You have to remember that Lovey Smith is a Defensive minded coach and a lot of times teams that a have a defensive mind set don't do very well with offense Example the Ravens and the Buccaneer's. The Ravens are getting by but they aren't doing Great. Though this isn't always true take Tony dungey and the Colts they struggle on Defense but most the time it is. I think they need a new QB coach someone that has real talent in that area because they have defense down pat.
