Maybe to young Jan?
The word was a tragically hip program on channel four with Terry Christian.

I loved The Word. It was so bad that it was fascinating. The girl from L7 dropped her knickers. Mark Lamarr got a cob-on with Shabba Ranks and walked off. Classic TV. There was a little lesbian lass called Huffty who did public interviews and stuff. Quality!

yeah indeed, "I would do anything to be on TV" the granny was sick likes.... lol.
the show was total mayhem, used to watch it all the time, Oliver Reid (God Bless his Soul) was excellent, bring on the old days of the red triangle.. hehe
p.s. remember the rock chick from the group who dropped her jeans and showed her beaver.. lol. superior.. don`t get any madness lie that anymore.
I`m thinking we learned, so ok, we now got Jonno Woss on a Friday night... I prefer the old school nights.
cheers hope your well.

Yes, I remember the word. Bloody awful programme, wasn't it? Didn't it have Paula Yates on it at some stage? Typically "yoof" TV made by some middle aged executive.

I remember, and it really was bad. No one learned from the mistake, there's rubbish equally as bad being shown

I must really have hated it because I don't recall watching it - if it was even half good, I would have at the time.
