Im looking into buying a PS3, but I will most likely buy the $500 model, and I will be using my 360 as my main console. The reason I said that is because my 360 has the Wi Fi adaptor and I was wondering which PS3 to go with. I know the 60GB model has Wi Fi, so I was wondering if I should just do what I did with my PS2 and not even bother with the Online and just focus on Xbox's Online, or is it the real deal? Also, I was wondering if the 20GB is enough. Are the game saves big? Do the HDD's come with around 20/60 GB, or are they like 360's that come with 12-16GB? So my main concerns are: Is the PS3 online worth it and is the 20GB HDD enough so I dont have to replace it? Is the $500 PS3 going to give me half of a system (360 Core Model, Im looking at you) or do I really need 60GB and Wi Fi?

I have 2 20GB PS3s and at first I was hesitant to open it, because I wanted the 60GB with the wi-fi so I was going to sell both. I couldn't wait so I called Sony to see if they will be making a wi-fi adapter eventually for the people that have the 20GB that want wi-fi and I was told they were. That is when I decided the 20GB was good enough for me and decided to keep one and the other I am waiting to sell. The 20GB is plenty enough if it will only be used for gaming purposes, but if you are wanting other media like music and other downloads then you may want bigger (but remember you can always upgrade later past 60 GB if you really want bigger for less than the price of a 60 GB unit.) As far as the PS3 online you can get online with the 20GB or the 60GB the only difference is for the 20GB you have to connect it to your modem by an ethernet cord and there is no charge for online. Also it has internet explorer so if you have a keyboard just plug it up and you can surf the net on your TV as though you were on a computer. So to answer your question...20GB and connecting online by ethernet cord is enough especially if you say Xbox 360 is your main console. We have both the Xbox 360 (we have the core version) and the PS3 hooked up by ethernet and it works fine. Oh and no it does not give you half of a system if you get the 20GB model you get everything the same as the 60GB just the obvious smaller HDD and no WiFi...don't forget you've got a Blu-Ray player and the movies look amazing. If you are looking to purchase the 20GB version I still have the second one available unopened...just shoot me an email at edisen.souvoravong@yahoo.com

Get the 60. I have it. It is better, and comes with a movie, Talagalia Nights. Do not listen to these people that says it sucks because they cry about not having a PS3 and are jealous. Get PS3, it also is a combo of the Nintendo Wii.
