No. She is just worried that he still might affect her relationship with you in a negative way. I am like that all the time too.

She may have had really deep feelings for him at one point in her life and feels uncomfortable being around him now. If I were to see one of my ex's in particular right now, I have no doubt that I would probably be completely weak at the knees and more than likely pass out....doesn't mean that I love my hubby any less or would want the other man in a relationship again, I mean they did split up for a reason and she did find you and love and marry you. She could still have feelings, not to say that she would want him by any means but she could still carry some deep seated feelings and I for one would feel very uncomfortable having to deal with those feelings/memories rushing back. You should just ask her about it and be completley neutral and understanding about whatever she tells you.

Be yourself. Don't try to be someone you're not. So what if you have a baby face? The physical appearance is only one factor of you. I'm sure when they get to know you better, you will gain their respect. Beside, having such an obstacle will make the respect you gain sweeter, knowing that you gained it purely because you are 'you'. Having a baby face might be troublesome to you, but I'm sure that it will build on to your character (even more than those who doesn't have to work as hard). Also, I think that you'll find having a baby-face quite beneficial in your later years :)

We saw my husband's ex at a town function. They were married for 10 years, no kids. Gee I wonder why he decided he wanted to stay on the oposite side of the street. Hello! he spent 10 years with her and she didn't want to be married anymore, I know there are still feelings there. I would be stupid to think otherwise. They were a part of each other's lives for so long. I'm sure it would be awkward and he decided to avoid the situation for both our sakes.

Not really it varies from person to person. It may just be uncomfortable for her to be near him with you around because she is worried about how you feel. Maybe he propositioned her and she will not tell you so you will not get mad. But she has her reasons, I do not think if you trust her you should read too far into this.

No, I don't believe she has feelings for him. I believe she is extremely nervous of what you might think--jealousy and what not. Just put your arms around her and tell her you love her. You have been married for 10 years - you ought to know her by now!

Maybe he hurt her deeply. Its up to you however to let her know that the man she is with now has led her far away from the hurt she once had. Be supportive. She might just be dealing with issues of her past now.

Because there is a REASON they aren't together anymore. I sure wouldn't want some of the psychotic fruitloops I've dated in the past showing up on my doorstep.

Perhaps their relationship ended in bad terms or something in their relationship really hurt her and she hasn't yet come to terms with it. If you sense she's feeling uncomfortable maybe you ought you ask her about it and maybe she'll be open enough to discuss why. Don't jump to conclusions just yet.

First why is he around her?

She probably remembers all the good times they had and feels uncomfortable.

Ask her
