With Vince Young looking more like a verteran then Rex Grossman of the glorified Bears and the Defensive rolling on all cylinders, why are the Titans considered legitiment playoff contenders in teh weak NFC where 8-8 could get you in the playoffs. Remember, many teams rest starters in the ending weeks if they wrap up a playoff spots so Tennesee could get some gimmes against hard teams.

The Titans are in the (AFC South) It's arguably one of the strongest Divisions. They Have to play the Colts,Jaguars, and the cupcake Texans. They play all of those teams twice.Vince Young Needs Better Line play and to play smart football so he don't throw any picks(He's only a rookie). The AFC is stronger than the NFC. Last year the Chiefs went 10-6 and ended up not getting a playoff berth.
So my point is that the Titans need to come up with a huge win-streak in order to have a chance at the playoffs.

they are going to easily make the playoffs. Win all of it? Too not difficulty-free to assert. The Titans have made a lot progression, more desirable themselves a lot, that i must be particularly dissatisfied in the experience that they didnt a minimum of make the wild card for the AFC. yet, they prefer to draft a WR and perhaps some tremendous expertise on protection to substantiate a playoff spot. The Jaguars and Texans are transforming into extra powerful each and every year and the Titans favor to augment to get previous to the game.

The Titans are in the AFC and are 4-7. Even if they run the table, a 9-7 record still might not get them in the playoffs. Let's see if VY can get by the Colts next week hahaha

The Titans aren't in the NFC. They are in the AFC south and 8-8 won't get you into the playoffs in the AFC.

First of all, the Titans are in the AFC, not the NFC. Secondly, there's no way with losing to Indy, J'ville, SD, and etc. so badly, that if they ran the table, they still wouldn't get in at 9-7.

Nope. Sure, Young looked impressive in the final quarter. But that doesn't mean the Titans should play with the likes of the Ravens, Colts, Patriots, and Chargers, just to name a few.
