As far as I know, the footage is fake, and YouTube brings up too many results just to air that.
Secondly, the footage was never released.
"Speculations have surfaced which suggest the tape of Steve Irwin's death may be released for broadcast on television. However, the opposite has also been stated. Irwin's friend and manager John Stainton told CNN's Larry King "[The tape] should be destroyed" Nevertheless, Irwin had commented that, if he were to be killed by an animal, he would want the incident filmed. However, in an ABC interview with Barbara Walters, Irwin's wife Terri said she hasn't seen the film of her husband's deadly encounter with the stingray and that it won't ever be shown on television."

it was stolen. but I have not heared of anyone airing it.
Oh and about his family wanting it destryoed. UM Steve had said before if he was ever on tape and killed by an animal he would want it to be aired. Oh and his dad also wanted it aired so far the only "family member that wanted it destroyed was his wife. His kids are too young to be really counted

I've seen a video that claims to be it, but all you can see is a stingray swim under someone, the guy jerks a little and the vid ends.

What is wrong with you? If his family wanted it destroyed, then you have no right to see it! Its really none of your business! People like you probably make it a million times harder for his family to recover from his death! You make me sick!
