I love when people answer yeah, that was a great movie, and then can't actually remember it or who was in it. Anyway, it stars Jeff Bridges in a very disturbing role, one of his best, as an extremely brilliant person who wants to experience killing someone just to do it. Sandra Bullock is his victim and is in the movie maybe all of fifteen minutes. Keifer Sutherland is the main character as Sandra's boyfriend when she dissappeared and won't give up on finding her until he knows what exactly happened to her. Kiefer ends up finding out a few years later with his then girlfriend played by Nancy Travis when Bridges decides to re-enact with him what he did to Sandra. Sounds complicated, but is a very good movie!

Yes, it was a real thriller. I think Nancy Travis was a more important character than Sandra Bullock though.

Yeah, I loved this movie! Keiffer Sutherland was in it. I thought that movie was intense. Wasn't Jeff Bridges in it too? I think there was another movie that came out around the same time that I get mixed up with this one a lot. I don't remember the name though, but this was an excellent movie.

Yep! Love that movie..
For the benefit of those unfamiliar with the movie:
---It's about a chemistry teacher who plans to abduct a woman. Despite methodical planning and countless trial runs he always manages to mess things up. Then Diane, who is traveling with her boyfriend Jeff, unwittingly makes herself an easy target..

Yes, it's a really good movie IMO, although I've been told the movie it's based on, Spoorloos, is much better.
