sheeyit.
wouldn't ket a woman in MY kitchen. Well, unless she was, well, a woman and all. And looked good in there.
Scratch that. BUT......
Never met a one that could cook worth a damn. Too much heat. Always scortch the flour when they making a roux. And they make me do the same thing if they are standing too close, especially when I've nagged them into wearing my grandma's ruffled, embroidered apron and nothing else. Not conducive to me or her doing a good job with anything, that.
Feel better?
Just kidding. But hey, who cares about the goddam roux anyway, or who's best at what, for chissakes? If we can have fun with each other, that's enough. And life is not much fun for me without a woman to blame my screwups on, hold on to, amuse, and hang out with.
Yeah, and to cook for. I like to cook. And I'm good at it. When my mind isn't on something else. It often is.
Have fun. Don't overanylyze why you're having it, or with who, or why, or whether both of you should be out trying to show each other up in the ongoing effort to SAVE THE WORLD.

To an point, I agree. I was brought up that a woman's place is at home cooking and cleaning and taking care of baby's and the man works and brings home the money. However it does not mean I get stepped on and ignored. I am an equal part of this marriage and am treated as such.
I do not mean to offend those of you that are working mom's...to each his own.

Absolutely !! I love the kitchen... I take care of it all and want my man to stay the heck out of the way.
He loves coming home at night to a hot meal on the table and no dishes to do. I take care of the house, he takes care of the job. SIMPLE !!
My son is looking for the same type... He wants to work and come home to a wife who will cook and clean. Nothing wrong with that if you find the right person.

yes there are still women who are supporting the MYTH of "the house wife" ggrrrrrr
it is awful and more irritating to hear it from women than men, simply defending their place in front of the stove, well i say, if u want that place, fine with me, but do not say that this is where females belong.

god no. i dont agree at all.
the only reason women should be in the kitchen is because men are too stupid and will catch fire to everything. it doesn't mean it's womens 'place'

I wouldn't take most questions/answers posted on Yahoo Answers seriously.
Alot of them are posted JUST to get a reaction.

I for one do not.
Some women enjoy staying at home and that is great for them.
As long as they have a choice in how they spend their life.

If there are, they must be in their 50s or 60s, or raised in very traditional religious homes. Or else very sheltered. Very, very sadly sheltered.
