I just went to the doctor today and found out I am five weeks along. I go back in two weeks to hear the heart beat but I am so afraid I won't hear it. How can I not worry so much?

I think it's like that for everyone. I had a miscarriage in 2004 and was a bit scared when I was pregnant again in 2005. I thought I was going to go through the same thing. I had a successful pregnancy and my daughter is now 11 months old. everything will be ok, just take good care of yourself GOODLUCK!

A lot more women have miscarriages then people think. I ahd a miscarriage at the age of nineteen and then after my twentith birthday found out that I was pregnant again. Everything will be fine the chance of haveing two miscarriages back to back it rare from things that I have read but just try no to stress over it too much because what ever is God's will is what will happen. Good Luck, God Bless, and Best of Wishes on a healthy pregnancy!

I had a miscarriage when I was 18 and 5 months later I became pregnant again. The miscarriage was very hard on me emotionally but I think maybe I was being prepared for the greatest joy. She is now 9 years old. And also a 5 year old to go with that one. I dont think having a miscarriage keeps u from producing. I have known alot of women go through the same thing and even my sister in law went through over 12 miscarriages. She is now 33 years old and has a 2 year old. I think alot of women have miscarriages and dont even know they are pregnant. They pass it like a regular cycle. Hopefully u will be fine and pray very hard that God blesses u with this child.

Congratulations,

I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks but I carried the baby to 18 weeks, I had a scan at 12 weeks and everything was fine but at my next scan they couldnt find a heartbeat and the baby had stoped growing at 13 weeks, I went for a D&C in April 2002, to remove the baby, as I had no symptoms of miscarriage.

In June 2002 I fell pregnant again, I was so scared I would loose this baby as well, I didn't want to bond with the baby for it to be taken away from me again. I regret that, but I had a healthy son at 39 weeks, 6 days. On the 30th of March 2003 after a 9 hour labour. He was beautiful and weighed 6lb 12 oz.

In March 2004, I fell pregnant again, I wasn't as scared but it still was on my mind, I bonded with my dauhter heaps, I again had a healthy baby, a daughter that was born at 36 weeks, 6 days. On December 10th 2004 after a 55 minuet laour. She weighed 6lb 5.5oz

I am currently pregnant again, due 03 March 2007, I was convinced I was going to have a miscarriage this time as I had morning sickness like the first pregnancy and the other 2 I didn't, I am 27 weeks and going strong. My worries were deminished at 15 weeks. I started getting depressed during the first 3 months.

I hope my story has given you hope that its possible to have healthy pregnancy after a miscarriage, but it will always be in your mind, be positive and ask your doctor for more antinatal appointments during the first trimester to give your baby the best chance and you peice of mind. Hearing the heartbeat will take a huge reliefe of your sholders but its when you start to feel the baby move that it is no worry anymore as you know yourself that everything is fine. Good luck and I hope everythign goes wonderfully for you. keep positive and relax.

hi Hun, Your probability is a lot less once you've had a efficient being pregnant sure. I had my son July 07, then had 2 chemical pregnancies, (misc at 4 weeks) Then, I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. I then carried effectively previous 12 weeks, with a healthful toddler female, yet stuck an infection and lost her at 19 weeks. i'm now quite somewhat 14 weeks pregnant. So sure, they could take position after a efficient being pregnant, yet my experts were baffled, declaring that's continually miscarriages previously a healthful being pregnant. once you note the midsection beating on experiment, your opportunities drop dramatically - so having an early experiment would reassure you? at 8 weeks the possibilities drop, 10 weeks drop again, and 12 weeks your commonly secure. attempt now to not worry, take it each day, and save in ideas maximum pregnancies end at time period with a healthful toddler. no longer any opposite direction round. reliable luck hun, i comprehend that's problematical - i'm nevertheless a touch bit a damage now after dropping my toddler female in Jan, yet known that is going by you initiate to understand toddler will be ok. xxx

My little sister, took 6 yrs to become pregnant, had a miscarriage, then a year or so later became pregnant again, carried the baby through term. No way to make yourself not worry. Try keeping a pregnancy journal, pray, it really does help. Best of luck.
