Can anyone tell me the closest city to Tallahassee Florida that I could go to anytime during December to see snow? Snow in the mountains or maybe even see it snow??? Thanks

I know sometimes it snows in atlanta.. Look on the weather channel .com and see where it did snow that is closest to you.

The southern tip of the Appalachian Mountains located in North Georgia has a few nice places that tend to see snow occasionally in the winter. I couldn't guarantee you anything but that is where I would look or perhaps even Western North Carolina. They have many places that rent cabins with hot tubs there and in the Smoky Mtns of Tennessee near Gatlinburg, Dollywood. I would check those out first. I live in the Tennessee Valley within an hours ride of all these places. They are all approximately 6 to 8 hour drive for you from Tallahassee.

The closest to Florida is see snow would be I believe is Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky to further up the eastern sea board to Virgina.
