Just open a US$ account in your bank. Quite straight forward. You can then have payments made directly into it or pay bills out of it, without any currency conversion charges.

First ask your current bank if they have this facility. If not the HSBC bank run a US dollar account. They also have branches in most countries around the world.

I may have misunderstood your question but if you merely want a $ current account, this can be provided by most banks but you will need to keep a substantial balance on deposit to avoid charges.

I am sure that you can get this facility from a Channel Island Bank.
