Sweetie look you are not going to break anything....I would try to lose some through water exercising and diet first. Then try to walk at least 5-10 minutes a day to start with. Up it as you feel better and confident you can get further. The other thing is weights for home....ankle wieghts while you are watching TV and leg lifts will strengthen your muscles to go do other things so you will not get hurt. But you are at the gym to lose and you should be proud. I went from 300lbs to 120lbs so I know this works.
It was most successful with walking and diet. I commend you for trying and do not give up it will go by faster than you know it but will not seem that way at first.

I am a bit of a gym rat. I usually go to the gym 2-4 days a week. I am in good shape. Why am I telling you this? Because when I see people that are overweight and/or out of shape in the gym I think: Good for them. Good for them that they are doing something to make themselves better. Good for them that they care about their bodies. Good for them for having the courage to get into the gym and make a change in their lives.
No one is perfect. No one has never slacked off, or eaten something they shouldn't have, or just let things slip. The important thing is that you can do something about it. I respect everyone who decides that today is the day that they are going to make a change in their lives for the better.
Go to the gym. Work with a personal trainer to get a good workout program for you. Record everything you eat for a week then go to a nutritionist and get their help. Yeah it will cost some money, but you are worth it, every penny. Then make the changes that the trainer and the nutritionist suggest. It will take time, but there is no doubt that you can lose all of the weight you want and keep it off.
Work hard and it will happen.

You may have put on muscle, so dont think that it is flab fat, measure yourself. Are you clothes tighter, probably not. Ummm. you here everywhere you go that you should eat 5-6 times a day. Four times at the least, thats why u are not losing weight. Your body is holding on to and adding fat, dear. You need the right amount of calories for your height and weight, which is your body weight times 13 minus 1000. This is the amount of calories you should eat for weight loss. Plenty of water. Green tea will rev your metabolism, you will even feel it. Eat what you want but count the calories. You want have to count calories for the rest of your life. Once you do it for a while, you will automatically know how much to eat of the foods that you normally eat. Later, if you happen to eat something out of the ordinary, like if someone takes you out to eat at an unfamiliar restaurant, just eat small portions of each food group and use a calorie counter to find out the calorie count. Take a multi vitamin. Take calcium, the recommended amount needed for a woman, I also heard that calcium plus Vitamin D sold at Walmart, helps curb your appetite. Keep going to the gym, try to work in intervals, super fast for 2 minutes, regular fast or your normal speed for 3 minutes, rotate that until you reach 45 minutes. Slow down with the weights, lift light weights or do your own body weight exercises until you get closer to your goal weight. Work out first thing in the morning if you can for like 20 minutes, do power walking, doing this increases your metabolism immediately and if you drink green tea, your metabolism will go faster. Make sure you get a decent amount of fruits and veggies. If you dont really like veggies, replace with fruit, you still get your vitamins. Again make sure you eat small meals all day, Believe it that eating all day (good foods and a little of what you crave) will help with weight loss.
