Which govt are you talking about? There are almost 200 in the world. Some are involved in genocide. Sudan leaps immediately to mind. Iraq under Saddam tried. Many others have over the years. The only reason that I know of is that they are evil.
If you mean our govt, no. never has, never will.

To be fair, our government has many problems but they are not the ones committing genocide.
Talking about a government committing genocide, you should mention Darfur in Sudan.

Assuming you are meaning the USA Government, rather than Robert Mugabe's in Zimbabwe which is committing genocide.
So, no - I don't think that the US Governemnt is committing genocide.

YES I DO THEY HAVE ATTEMPTED TO KILL EVERY MISKITO IN MY AREA! IF THAT IS NOT GENOCIDE I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS.
