This stranger is a poor, weak lady who is somewhere in her late 80's. She lives in England in this poor village on the outscurts of the town. Now, u come along with 1,000 that you have to spend on her......... You can only buy one thing 4 her and the money that you do not use goes 2 your fav. charity. What would you but 4 her, and what would the charity be?

I would buy her plenty of food, clothes, and a nicer place to live for a month or so and the charity would be Habitat for Humanity!

My one thing would be to take her on a shopping trip, so that she would be able to have groceries for a long time, have new clothes if she wanted them, and some nice things for her house.
If there was any money left over, I would donate it to the Salvation Army in my home town - they help our country's poor, not someone else's.
