Yeah. It happened to me once. Make yourself a cup of tea and just try and relax. The cramps hurt really bad but you'll be okay in a day or 2.

I wasnt ovulating every month but the month that i did ( i was on meds so i knew i was ovulating) i had period like cramps that started the day i ovulated and didnt stop! when i was due for my period i did a test and i was preg!! The cramps continued until i was about 8 weeks pregnant. i was sure i was going to start my period. It may be your period coming but for this it was a sign of pregnancy!! Good luck and i hope its your month! Let me know.

Yes, all the time!!! My sister and I get cramps when we are ovulating. It's normal, I checked with my doctor, so now I'm just used to it.
Try to relax and take some pain medication, this should help!

it is definitely possible to feel a bit of pain when ovulating. also, when you are pregnant, and the egg implants itself in the uterus, some cramping can happen then as well i think. if you are worried about it, take a pregnancy test, or see your doctor. though it might take a while for a test to be able to read the hormones in your system if you are only half-way through your system. you might have to wait a week or so.

whoever red hot is.....your spelling is pretty darn close and yes that's the term for it. the pain is normal....could be a ruptured follice (egg) nothing to worry about, happens sometimes...try a hot water bottle and some aleve or advil if you aren't allergic to it. time to worry if you are having pain that isn't relieved by otc meds or getting very weak and pain severe.

The medical term for this is mittelsmerch. I hope I spelled that right. Although it's unusual and affects a very small portion of women, it is normal.
