my husband has worked his a...s off lately to get us out of finacial difficuly and we are both tiered and moody.
I would like some inspiring ideas to show my appreciation?

Not being the obvious one of sex and that doesn't involve loads of money.

if you have kids, get rid of them for 24 hrs....... make a special picnic of cheese, grapes, apples, small finger sandwiches, a wine, etc..... and have a nice picnic on the living room floor, with candles and low music, just a nice relaxing time !!! then run him a bubble bath and give him a wonderful message... he will love it and it will take away all this stress and renew him for the next working day........ make the night about him...... read to him while he soaks in tub..... a funny story or poems........ God bless

okay so sex is out and spending money. Okay how about not letting him lift a finger at home he's work very hard as you said when he gets home its just unwind time for him. If he wants to watch his sports fiddle on computer do what ever he likes, give him space without getting upset with him.

If he 's the type that likes affection. but as you say without the sex above. nice body massage .. draw a nice warm bath for him. some of his favorite magazines or books to read.

Make his favorite meals. just really let him feel comfortable no badgering complaining bitching, just have him totally relaxed in his own home with all the things he enjoys. If you know theres something he likes do that more often for him too.

and really let him know how much you really appreciate how hard he has worked for this family to get out of the financial difficulities and praise him. its not enough to just say thanks. let him know that what he has done has made such a difference and taking away your worries. And by him stepping up to theplate means alot to you and the family.

and Most of all love em uppppppppppppppp all the time. Let him know how special he is and how verymuch you love and appreciate him as a man a person and a good husband and lover.

good luck

Treat him to a make over or a day at a Spa. It'll relax him & help ease the moodiness. If that's not in your budget a weekend get away for both of you as a reward for your accomplishments. They're usually not all that expensive. There are a lot of places that will fit into your budget if you avoid booking them through an agency. Time to get out the ol' yellow pages or go on line.

Congratulations to him for his endeavors & to you for being so appreciative. Now go have a great time!!!!!!!

Shower him with your time. And make an effort(if it is hard for u) to express to him how much you appreciate his hard work. And express how much you love him....say many things that would open your heart to him.

And if that doesn't sound good, then fix up a romantic dinner by candle light. And give him a foot massage or all body massage.....something that would relax him, and leave his worries behind.

Go get a massage together! That's not too expensive, then put a card in something or someplace you know he will look....sneak out at night and put it on his windsheild wiper...That tells him how much you appreciate him and Love him! He seems like a sweetie! Good Luck to you!

Make him a special meal. Give him a massage from head to toe. Breakfast in bed. A Thank you card. A date together to see a movie (of his choice) and out for a meal (he chooses also).

You know what he likes, favorite meal, maybe a back rub, a hobby of his, time with "the guys", whatever recharges his batteries. Use what you know about him coupled with your imagination, and I'm sure you'll put a smile on his face. You're a great wife for appreciating him, I hope he knows what he's got!

Hallmark rides again. My wife leaves me greeting cards when she feels I need a little pick-me-up. It's a thoughtful gesture that's relatively inexpensive. It works for me.

If he spells word as bad as you do, get him a book on the English language, then you can both study it.
