I am very suspicious of people....I have to talk with them, learn more from them to ever call them a friend.

Sure. If the person is straight. Why? ' Cuz I'm normal, I suppose. The alternative would be,
" Well not right now, I've still got a quota of enemies to make up. See me in a week. I'll be the guy in the lead of a pack of hatchets behind me."

I would definitely be their friend, just because that takes courage to do, and I would be interested in getting to know this person. Chances are though, if it's a girl it would be a joke, and I would say "sure I'll be your friend" and then she would say "not!" and then laugh at me.

No. Most people who just do this aren't very good friends and just want to leech off your fame/money/stuff. Now, if you actually have none of these things, then by all means be their friend.

My saying is Do me wrong once shame on you. Do me wrong twice shame on me for giving you a second chance...so yes, I'd probably give the person a chance unless I already know the person will do me wrong..

I would always try. It is a little weird to be approached this way - but straight forward and direct is to be admired.
