When i connect the hard-disk to computer windows have detect the device but Local Disk are not shown in My Computer

You probably have to name it as a "slave" in your BIO's...it is controlled with the controller from your main drive. Look in your help to locate the procedure to open your bios....be dang careful in there though.....

Open computer check the the drive jumper is it set as slave move the jumper away one space turn on computer get into the BIOS setting do you see it and it says slave then save and exit it will be on my computer setting as drive D: or E: you should format it.be careful how to format it not to format c: and loose every thing

u have to partion it using windows xp disk or another program
