What are your opinions on Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii?

What are your opinions on NIntendo Wii and PLayStation 3? Which do you think is better? What are the pros and cons of each console? Give me as much info as you can. Thanks.

the PS3 and the Wii are completly differnt. the PS3 is are far better machine but the Wii is contested to be more fun.

the PS3 ($400 & $600) is a computer powerhouse with 7 prossesors and motion sensitive PS2 like controlers. and it looks really dam good. the games have HD grafics (like xbox 360) and there are already some amazing games in the line up (liar, fall of man, ect.) It also is a Blue Ray (think HD DVD) player (these retail for $800).

Wii seems like it will be more fun becuse you actually have to get up and move around. in Wii sports you use the controlers as a baseball bat, boxing gloves, tennis rackets, and more. It is also alot cheaper then the other consuls @ $250. the major draw back to the Wii is the grafics. but if you don't mind a little pixulation then go for it.

I personaly have the Xbox 360. It is great. amazing grafics, good games, elegant design, but no motion sensitive controlers. I am looking at getting a Wii latter, i need to play it first becuse the grafics might to to bad to handel..

I currently have the PS3 and the Nintendo Wii. I have to say the Wii is a better buy if you want something different. It definately brings a new spin on game play. There are also more games out at this time for the Wii. If you are the type of person who likes to play Sports games and Fighting Games I say the PS3 is your best bet because of the graphics. Also the PS3 has Blueray capability if you are into that. The movies cost between $25-30. It does look nice. The PS3 does cost less then a Blueray Dvd Player also. If you love to play different types of games and challenge yourself go for the Wii. On top of that, the Wii cost a lot less. It really all depends on what you are looking for. Hm? Oh, you mean those useless, overly-expensive hunks of crap that turn kids into monsters at bed time and homework time, and turn adult males into terrible companions?

I honestly think that putting up over $600 for a new game console because there's only three at the local Best Buy is absolutely ridiculous. What's the point in even choosing one, they aren't even going to be in stock for another six months.
