Probably never. But to amuse you, we will find peace when we find life on other planets, when we find how the universe begins and how it ends. Dude.... just smoke pot you'll be fine, or maybe not.

I think we are making some progress, sometimes it is invisible and sometimes our media does not report it --- but it is there.
People are beginning to question Religion, question what the U.S. is REALLY doing in Iraq, find out from organizations like amnesty international what is really going on in the world. Rich people like Bill Gates donate much money to these causes. You don't hear a lot about these things in the news.
I know we have a long way to go yet. But look at how things were 100, even 50 years ago! The Internet is making this world smaller and carries information to a lot of people very quickly. Yes, there are hate groups on that too. But they are not the majority.
The Peace loving people who want to see hunger and prejudice end like you and I ARE the majority. NOW. The world will learn Peace when we make our voice heard, just as YOU are doing now by posting this question. There is a process to it. But I think it will happen sooner than you think. The great hope is in our children. Let's teach them well.

Buddha said: "Life is difficult."
Jesus said: "The poor you will have always."
BUT, here in the US, the Feds say that a 'poor' person can have two new, paid off cars, a paid off $500,000 house, $2,000,000 in the bank.
Dinesh d'Souza's dad was told that in America, the poor were
usually fat! When Mr. d'Souza found that this was generally
true, he moved his family to America and became very successful.
Question: 'Do you want a potentially dangerous, Prosperous Peace; or, Do You Want War?
For almost 40 years, most of America's leaders on the Democratic side and some on the Republican side have opted
for War.
I submit that most people say they want peace; but, war is just
so much more exciting.
Over the years I've asked Peaceniks and their ilk various
'Peace Litmus Questions;' and, most would create a world
that is even more warlike and horrible than the one we currently
have.
You, too, Mr. Pontificator, may be a closet warmonger like
Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon, Henry Kissinger, etc... and not
even know it.
The great Liberator of India, M K Gandhi, was asked if his brand
of Peaceful, Civil DisObedience would have worked against
Hitler? "I think Mr. Hitler would have welcomed our peaceful
disobedience with massive slaughter.

All persons can do is desire/pray and use mind, words and action in an attempt to go away the worldwide somewhat extra effective than as quickly as we entered it. All species on earth are under pressure out to kill. Evolution takes an prolonged time. The Human Species has been here for the blink of a watch because of the fact the Earth progressed from its molten state.

It will be a long time before this happens. This is what happens when you give a creature who is part predator a thinking brain. Conflict it self is actually part of our growth as a species. There have been so many inventions that have come out of war that are saving peoples lives today, it appears to be one of those necessary evils. We must also overcome out differences before we can socially evolve to the next level.

Peace in the face of evil is morally wrong and sinful. This is punished with genocide. Every single culture who has done as you suggested, through out human history, has been exterminated. That should tell you something about this.

I is not human nature to have peace and accept all others. We evolved from hunter-gatherers who had to guard their territority against other group in order to guarentee there was enough for themselves. Our lifestyle has changed over the years, but our nature has not.

Peace is a relative term. If you promise to yourself not to harm anyone and not to find faults with others and tries to teach same things to others you will make a difference.
