I have been getting my period twice a month. It started around September. At first I thought it was just the stress from starting college. But now I'm getting worried. It comes every two weeks and I get extreme pain in my back and my lower stomach. I don't want to go to a doctor, and my mom acts like it's nothing serious. But I'm tired of it. What could be causing this and could it be serious?

It's difficult to diagnose your symptoms without proper testing.
Go to your doc for a check-up, bleeding every 2 weeks is not normal weather you're under stress or not. You might be becoming anemic from all the blood loss. Does your campus have a clinic you can go to?

You should talk it over with your mom and ask her to take you to the doctor. This could be something relatively small to serious. But go see a doctor asap.

u really need to go to a gynecologist, she/he will probably put u on birth control because it's very good at controlling the length, frequency, and intensity of periods.

Just go and get this checked out as immediately as possible. I don't mean to raise alarms, but this doesn't sound good to me. Good luck!

GO TO THE DR. YOU MIGHT NEED TO GO ON BIRTH CONTROL JUST TO GET THIS STRAIGHTEN OUT. IF YOUR AWAY AT COLLEGE GO TO THE HEALTH OFFICE. IF YOUR AT HOME, GO TO A LOCAL DR.
