If you haven't already tried this you should but them all on horsetopia.com and describe them very well. Also try your local prospector or bulletin board. GOOD LUCK!

have you considered the words you use in your ads?also, when a prospective buyer comes, are you allowing them to look at all aspects, and take them to their own vet? if i cant take a horse im serious about to my own vet, ill drop the offer right there. someone could be dishonest, or trying to swift you if they only will let the person take it to your vet. this does not mean you are dishonest about your horses, it just means that someone could be trying to be dishonest. are you sure that the prices are fair to everyone? are the prospective buyers informed of the training level? how much are you selling for and from what area? i am about to retire my show horse. good luck with selling!! :)

Here in Illinois, we have
http://www.horsetradin.com/
but there might be something similar in your state.
Be sure to include photos.

Or perhaps you can make some business arrangement at a local schooling barn or offering to do a lease or partial shareboard? Perhaps you can offer to showcase your horses for a limited time with a specific barn.

Talk to local shops and post flyers. Ask friends and neighboors. maybe they can keep them over the winter or share the cost with you. There are a lot of people looking to lease or shareboard which would help with costs. Ask for help or donations from family, friends, local townspeople.
