Yes and yes raised to 1000 times.
He is going to make a difference.
He is the only one who has agression and if allowed to say passion for playing for the country. He does not like to be on loosing side. He motivates the team members and when he was the captain, Kaif and Yuvraj played some unforgetable inninings of their career. In short, he looked after and motivated the younger players. He backed them and was a good observer of a match winner.
Bringing him back as captain would give him the much needed confidence that he is looking for batting. He is practicing hard and wants to be back. Shows his competitive skill. What you need is a person like him at the top. Mike Brearly, the worst of the player you can think of, captained England and made them win some great matches. He brought back the confidence in Ian Botham. To be frank Ganguly is much better player and being at the helm of affairs, he is bound to get back into his own old good self back.

Yes, he is one with golden touch.

Are selectors and BCCI, hearing.

No, because Rahul Dravid is leading the team nicely. As a captain, there is defeats and loss but on the whole he is a better leader than ganguly is. The best thing in Dravid is he leads the team by example. He himself is very good batsmen. Where as Ganguly is continuously out of form and cannot perform well as a captain too.

It won't happen. I hope he gets back into the team but as captain I'm not convinced by Dravid Sewhag is terrible, Tendulkar doesn't want it, but Ganguly would be admitting a mistake. The board won't do that, I mean is they can't drop Suresh Raina they're not going to reinstall Ganguly as captain.

no because it is too late now and after all that has happened in last 15-16 months ...

- that would upset Dravid who is by far our best batsman
- that would create more discord in team since Chappell and Ganguly won't gel at all as coach & captain
- that would trouble Ganguly more since he is yet to find full form as batsman

Absolutely yes...The foolish dog GREG CHAPPELL should be pilled out of our Indian cricket team and the west bengal tiger SOURAV GANGULY should be brought into the team....Otherwise there is no way...India cannot even enter the supersix of worldcup 2007...

Not as a captain. Because this will disturb the existing set-up. This is not advisable before the world cup.

But he certainly deserves a place in the team. His experience will come in handy.

Not at this stage. First his place in the Indian Team has to be secured before considering him for the captaincy. I feel that he should be be first included in the test team in the test series to be played against South Africa. If he performs well in the test matches, he should be considered for the forthcoming one day series against Sri Lanka and West Indies and if he performs well in these series also, he can be defenitely considered for the One Day Squad for World Cup.
