Warm milk with a hint of vanilla or warm milk with ginger, vanilla, and honey. My psychologist swears by it. It really relaxes you.

I have gone thru this for my entire life, 48 yrs worth.....I was born with, what my mother has called a backwards clock.. I lay at nite with my mind running 100 mph and my body begging for time off..... I started walking, then went to jogging then running.... I also found that writting it all down at nite helps a LOT, this allows your mind to go thru it, think about it, and then let it go... it takes a few wks to work, but it works...... well, most of the time..... God bless

If you can get a prescription, I highly recommend Ambien for sleeping, Xanax for relaxation.
In a pinch, BENADRYL. It's the same drug as Sominex, Nytol, etc, but you can buy generic Benadryl for half the price or even less. Diphenhydramine Hcl.
