High as in THC or LSD or other hallucinogenics, no
High as in a light head from oxygen deprivation, yes
anytime you smoke anything; tobacco, weed, cloves, dog poo, your body doesn't get the oxygen it needs to function properly, you get lightheaded, just as if you were to hold your breath too long. If you really want to get that kind of high, hold your breath, that doesn't damage your lungs!

YOU GUYS ARE ALL WRONG. What experience told you this? One must learn from experience when it comes to something like this. Read other answers because these below are not correct. It will be mildly pleasant for sure, and can provide a good substitute when you're off the sauce. Cats don't go crazy for it for no reason, and our DNA is pretty freakin' close to a cats, seriously.

Smoking enough of anything will make you feel woozy from lack of oxygen, but no...there isn't anything in particular in catnip, tea leaves, or banana peels that will "make people high".

Smoking catnip will poison your body therefore altering your state of mind. However ther is no particular compound that will make this sensation pleasant. Where as there are many other legal (and illeagal) plants that can do the job. However the naming of them on this site would not be suitable

The answer is no, it's only affects Cats...not even dogs. It helps people in tea because of its soothing affect on the tissues or walls of the stomach.

If it is fresh (like grow your own), catnip tea will do the trick, better for you than smoking, and it is legal.
