Rip up newspaper or construction paper and then in a bowl mix Elmer's school glue(Walmart 39cents) and add a little water if desired. Paper Mache what you wish and allow to dry.
Or option B- buy a paper mache kit at your local Walmart for about 10 bucks and enjoy! I recomend the cheaper version. Have Fun!

First you start out making the basic shape of whatever it is your doing. You can use anything for this, from newspaper to paper plates and cups, etc.. To make the mix I boiled two parts flour to one part water until it was all.. Gooey and thickened. Then to cover it use paper towel, dip it in and slap er on. Try not to put TOO many layers at once, or it will take centuries to dry. You might have to wait and let it dry a bit before adding more.

Have fun!!

It's paste and strips of paper. Dip the strip of paper in make sure it's wet, though not too wet and apply. We sometimes used to use flour and water for paste.

I used masking tape, newspaper, and wallpaper paste in my Art I class in high school. You have to form the newspaper into whatever you want, then tape it together in the process. Then you have to coat it with another layer of newpaper strips soaked in some type of glue (i.e. the paste.)
