No it's a scam. Magnets do nothing for pain. Waste of money. The person is selling the mattress because THEY found out after buying it that it didn't work.

.. It depends upon a combination of things. One is the cause of the back pain. ... The other is the quality of the magnetic pad. ... I have met more than one individual who was helped significantly by sleeping on a magnetic mattress. .... Personally I was helped tremendously by one for a number of years towards alleviating a recurring tendonitis problem in my arm that was brought on by the work I was engaged in. The magnetic mattress that I slept on each night, in fact allowed me to return to work the next day without any residual effects from the previous days work. .. Of course I had to sleep on the pad each night to undo the effects of my work from that day,.. but it was a hell of alot better than having to ice my arm and eventually not be able to do the work at all.

This is definately not a hoax or scam. There has been a tremendous amount of scientific and medical research done on the effects of magnetic fields on the human body. ... Modern medicine even uses electro-magnetic coils to accellerate and promote the healing of broken bones because the medical profession knows that magnetic fields speed the process of osteoclast (bone cell) production in the body. ..... Magnetic fields increase circulation in the body. .... Consider the fact that the foundation of the matter that makes up your body and all matter in the universe is composed of magnetic field forces. .. For example the magnetic field that is observed in the structure of the atom.

I can tell you that you would most likely find that you would need to sleep on your back in order to benefit from the effects of the magnetic pad if you do choose to try it. If you sleep on your stomach or your side,.. your back is not likely to benefit from the effects of the magnetic field from the pad. ... I would also recommend that you sleep on a firm mattress so that your spine can stretch out at night while you sleep. This would enhance and support the effects of the magnetic field from the pad.

I have never used the magnetic bed before. But, I do have the Sleep Number bed. That is the best investment I have ever made. I have had back problems for 25 years and the bed has helped me sleep very well for the past two years.

I've heard the magnet thing is unproven......I think it's more important that you have a good solid mattress.....also make sure your posture is good, and do some stretching exercises for your back daily

I am sorry to hear that. I suffered from back pain for a number of years too. But I am sorry to say that I do not believe in fairy-tales, but certain Yoga excercises do help.
