Consider yourself hugged. I know holidays can be rough for some people, especially if you do not have loved ones close at hand. Try to remember that Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus and that he loves you more than you can even imagine. I can not begin to tell you of the joy and peace he has brought to me.
Find yourself a good church. One where the Word of God is truly spoken. You may have to search for a while but you will find the one where God will speak to you and you will know that is where the Holy Spirit is. Don't expect the people to be perfect we are all a work in progress, at least they are in the place where they can get the most help.
Turn to God in this Glorious time and he will give the biggest hug you've ever had. He's had practice spreading out his arms for love.
