Moving to South Padre Area( hopefully with in 50 miles) and am hoping the schools and jobs are good. I hope the summers are not extremely hot?

I used to live in Corpus Christi, was born and raised in Texas. I assume you are talking about Padre Island which used to be beautiful but like everything else businesses have taken over. Schools were excellent and there were plenty of jobs. I no longer live in Texas but last time I was there it had really grown in that area. Summers can get pretty hot like anyplace. I have seen it get to 110 there. Don't know where you live now but you will love Texas, especially where you are moving too.

Pffftt...good luck with the 'hope the summers aren't extremely hot' bit. LOL! But it's a beautiful area you are moving to. But I hate to inform you, in the summer time Texas bakes.

*Sooners83* is an idiot. He doesn't represent the Texan mentality-just his own stupid little world.

Hi, I hope you'll like it, I don't think it is extremely hot,
anyway I have just moved to a diffrent state, and found the process of finding moving company a little hard, and because I finnely find a good one, I want to share it with you in case you need a moving company.
I have moved from NYC to San Diego, using Metro-VanLines.
I found them in one of the leaders moving portal, and check their web site, http://www.metro-vanlines.com and I had good feeling about it,
look professional, and experienced.
since the first phone call I felt that no one try to trick me, I could tell them everything, and ask as many question as I want.
They gave professional answers, and I felt like I am in good hands, and decided to go for it.

They arrived exactly in time, and everyone look like pro.
Everyone was very courteous and professional. I felt everyone knew what they had to do and it was done.

anyway, good luck in Padre :)
Jenn

Hope you like skeeters, too. They are going to eat...you...alive. And hurricane season's always fun. Not to mention the normal rainfall. And +90% humidity. Gusty, salty wind right off the Gulf. Sand. Not too much of a problem if you're 50 miles inland, though.

Yes, the beach sounds nice, but I wouldn't live there for all the pizza at Cici's.

i have lived in Houston and San Antonio. i'm a fan of Houston that is the position i'm now. i might want to assert that in case you want a slower %. and better ideal outdoor surroundings, then Northwest San Antonio might want to be effective. If income is a issue, then i might want to imagine two times about Austin (sorry Austin human beings). In Houston, i might want to assert Northwest or West area (like Katy area). also, you want to think about what field you'd be shifting into and be sure which has a better ideal marketplace outlook on your particular position. In Houston, there are a large style of power correct jobs. i have in straight forward words visited Dallas, so i'll't remark, in straight forward words to assert that many Dallas those who i have met look to really like it.

Summers are hot and I hope you like Mexican, They will be all over the place. Don't move to Brownsville, find a nice rich area to move to so the schools will be good.
