It was originally developed as an elephant tranquilizer - and, as with any elephant tranquilizer, it soon became known by several street names and was ingested by numerous burned out losers so they could have an out of body experience.....commonly called LSD....great stuff if you happen to be into hallucinations, paranoia and the real possibility of a lifetime of re-occurring bad trips.

LSD. It's a psychotropic drug created in the sixties. The creator, Albert Hofman (who recently died) thought that it would lead to great discoveries in medicine. But, thanks to Timothy Leary, who was indiscriminant about his 'studies', it got classified as a useless druga associated with the hippy generation and most testing was stopped.
