I have used QuickBooks Pro to manage my small business finances for a while. I have been managing my personal finances in a spreadsheet, but that can get a bit messy. Is there any real advantage to going with Quicken instead of just running my personal finances as another business file with QuickBooks?

I have used Quickbooks for client accounting and Quicken for my personal finances. I have used Quicken for 15 years. Quicken is set up for personal finances and is much easier to use and offers many more functions for tacking investments and the resulting gains and losses.
