I'm single but I consider myself a mom...to my two cats. I just got a new baby (black cat w/yellow eyes) because I lost one of my babies to old age (she was 15). Losing her was no less painful if I had lost a child I gave birth to.
Your pincher...is your boy...and good for you. Its great to have a baby....

Let's see I feed them, give them shelter, nurse them when they are sick, love them when things come out both ends, sometimes at the same time it seems, lol. I love my children more of course but it is my animals that love me rather I am a grouch or in a loveable mood. And they can communicate but not talk back lol

Of course, my cats and dog are all like my children. I always tell people I have 6 - 3 kids and 3 furbabies. =)

Yes, my bunny. She cuddles in my arms and place her head on my shoulder, just like a baby would. She loves to play and understand a few words. She is my little baby girl and I tell her that. :D

WE HAVE NUMEROUS PETS THAT ARE LIKE OUR CHILDREN... WE HAVE 1 HORSE, 4 BIRDS, 9 DOGS, 11 CATS AND 1 FISH.

YES! I HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD MALE CHIHUAHUA NAMED SKEETER! I CALL HIM MY SON CONSTANTLY! I STILL LIVE AT HOME SO EVERY YEAR I PUT A X-MAS TREE UP IN MY ROOM FOR ME AND HIM! HE EVEN GETS HIS OWN ORNAMENT PLUS A B-DAY AND X-MAS PRESENT. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'D DO WITHOUT HIM!!!!!!!!

well, in my family, we call the owner its mom or dad. they practically are like children...they get treated as well as the people.
