I really enjoyed Kenneth Silverman's biography of Edgar Allan Poe.

I don't remember the exact name, but it was a very informative book on breastfeeding. Told you a lot of information, all the benifits, not only for the baby, but for the mother also. I think I liked it because it was very encouraging considering the fact that I'd like to breastfeed some day.

Although it's fictional writing, it's based on the Diaries of the writer. Try "Crying Mountain" by Lili Dauphin it's on Amazon.com

The one book no one should be without is: THE WAY THINGS WORK vols I & II. This book tells you how to make soap, vinegar a simple lathe and other items to rebuild civilization.
