i am a female highschool female wrestler, and i wrestle on the team with all guys but one other girl. since the other girl is a different weight class i wrestle the guys.
what is your opinion on women wrestling?

I have wrestled agenst and with (on the same team in practices)girls. Nothing wrong with it. I talked her into it beacuse she didnt want to do it but after the season she thanked me for changing her mind cuz she liked it so much.
Wrestling a girl, (the first time was in jr.high) I thought would be aqweird but it wasnt.
In practice I had alot of mat time with her beacuse we where the same weight (130) and I thought it would be weird cuz it wouldnt be a one time thing but constend and slower beacuse the drills and all, but honestly, lust dont come into it at all. Its just a sport and a fun one. I respect girls that wrestle.

Female wrestling has come a log way in the last ten years, there's even been a couple of Olympic medalists. I have seen many female wrestlers over the years and I have noticed that some states have female-only wrestling teams and tournaments. I believe that if you are sincere in your pursuit of this ageless sport then you should be properly supported.

I think women entering wrestling is a great accomplishment since as first time we did not have any say in nothing and now we are taking over

at my son's high school, there are several girls on the team. so it really doesn't matter, because she wrestles both the girls and the boys. it seems that it's really getting over the fact that a boy can and WILL touch every part of your body. with that said, she really kicks butt on the wrestling mat and the other boys respect her abilities. good luck.....

its the reason why i watch wrestling,my fav is victoria, and my all time fave is madusa,i would really like to see wwe bring in real women wrestlers again,wwe had very good women wrestlers about 3 years ago,it would be cool to see those kind of women back.

Go for it as long as there isn't anything like really inapropriate involved then its the same as wrestling girls only better because you have more competitiion. Good Luck!

its amazing that you can have women wrestlers who can take such physical abuse and keep going on in a match. Even at my school you have girls that can go toe to toe with guy wrestlers bigger than them.

Its awesome....I am in it at my high school....that and I'm good at it....finaly a sport where girls are allowed to kick guys ***!
