What difference would it make if others actually DO get sick of society? Regardless, I am here to answer a question...in order to answer your question, I need to ask a few smaller ones, (it's a Q and A I'll administer upon myself in text so you can see my thoughts).
What is society? Is it a conglomeration of collective souls or is it a device implemented to inflict conformity? To me, it's many things. Inside this western, capitalistic society we, (Americans) have created, society is intolerant of a great number of things...such as ideals that aren't either traditional or "convenient" to others in the mainstream of society itself. Those, (to me), are the one's that live their meager lives complacantly day to day...only seeking futile reward that has no impact on other people's live's but their own. It's self sufficient, uncaring, bold, arrogant, incontinent, without natural affection and pompous, (society, in THIS facet).
However, there are parts of society that bring me SOME hope for the collective conscience of mankind. For instance, the very and all too few acts of kindness and concern. In whatever fashion it presents itself, kindness exist's quite vaguely in this catacomb of twisted ventures and self absorbedness we call society. But because it DOES happen, (however infrequent), there is a minute' grain of hope left.
You can probably imagine I've had my share of dealings with the aforementioned of society. Though I may have little hope, I STILL have some. Anyway, I hope I helped you in your search.

Signed,
a fallen one

Not sure which society you're talking about. It sickens me to see the victim mentality and level of cowardice that has taken hold of American society. If those of the 17th century were anything like the last couple of generations, they would have been too terrified to have gotten on the boat without an absolute guarantee of safety and slew of lawyers to accompany them.

Every day! Considering we live in a civilized society, it amazes me how uncivilized people sometimes act. My hubby oftens says "I am not prejudiced, I hate all people." As funny as they may be, it's true. People have lost their manners. From things as simple as Thank You! It makes me sick. Back when our grandparents were alive, men didn't even go outdoors without wearing a suit and hat, saying thank you and please. What happened to good old fashioned ladies and gentlemen! Life would certainly be more pleasant, with little effort.

No I never get sick of society as everyone is different and all have different lives to live. they may not be your cup of tea, but nonetheless they live the way they want to as I'm sure you do.
Instead of wanting to shut your door why not keep it open and wear a smile on your face....... a smile is contagious.that's what the word needs more happiness.

Yeah, sometimes i do. but when that happens i never ignore the problem cause that only makes it worse. I just try to work the problem out and if that doesn't work then using force is another way to work out the problem but usually people will respond to you if you just TALK to them but those few ignorant bullies-you gotta take care of them the other way.

I've been sick of it for decades! I avoid most people and would rather be a hermit than deal with most of the jerks and violent whackos out there!

Oh, you bet. It seems society is out to find fault with anybody and anything. Some days, I just want to say the hell with it.
